Deakin's Communication & Media and Performing & Creative Arts disciplines are offered through first class facilities at the following locations:

  • Melbourne Burwood Campus: Building P - formerly Rusden

    This state-of-the-art building was opened in 2004 and combines cutting edge technologies with traditional contemporary arts forms to ensure that Deakin and the Faculty of Arts and Education are responsive to the needs of both established and emerging professions in the arts and related industries.

  • Geelong Waterfront Campus: Visual Arts

    Visual Art students at Deakin's Geelong Waterfront Campus will work out of new facilities from 2012 which will include an 'atelier' style studio and labs equipped for digital and chemical Photography. From this location they will enjoy the maritime environment that has been the inspiration of countless artists.

     

  • Warrnambool campus: Visual Arts Studio

    This is the ideal environment to let your imagination and creativity run wild, well stocked and maintained, students produce outstanding works of art here.

  • Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus: Journalism Lab

    This facility provides a high-tech recording studio, as well as audio and video editing suites for broadcast journalism, radio and TV

Deakin's School of Communication & Creative Arts runs a fully stocked wardrobe and costume hire facility that complements the end of semester student productions.
