A cutting edge cross-cultural collaborative performance devised by Deakin University Performing Arts Students in conjunction with English Language Students from The University of Amsterdam.
"Quarter Acre Dreaming" examines the development of the Australian identity through exploring life in the Australian suburbs and the ideals we have aspired toward in and around our homes.
The play travels across a sweeping time span of 404 years, back to the first Dutch sighting of Australia in 1606.
