Higher Degrees by Research programs in the School of Communication and Creative Arts provide opportunities for intellectual and artistic research across a range of disciplines, including literature and professional writing, the creative and performing arts, communication, film and digital media, journalism and public relations.
Postgraduate students are supervised by a panel of world-class researchers. They are supported by School and Faculty level research induction, training and professional development programs, and access to state-of-the-art technologies and research resources.
Through the School-based seminar series and conferences, Higher Degree by Research students participate in a vibrant research culture which is developing new knowledge based on creative and humanities-based research models, and engages with a range of real-world, social, cultural, historical and environmental concerns.
