Over the past couple of months, you will have seen the astonishing political upheavals across the Middle East. You will have also seen how Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have challenged international diplomacy. There is no doubt we are in a period of great change. Units in Middle East Studies, International Relations and Politics will give you a chance to learn more about these recent events and how they are shaping the world, and Australia's place in its broader context. You may wish to study a language.
Knowledge of other languages and culture is becoming increasingly more valuable in the workforce and in international business and relations.
Or, you may also consider studying philosophy in order to understand the 'bigger meaning' of existence.
If so, you could enrol in ASP102 or ASP202 - World Religions which is run in Trimesters 1 and 3
Trimester 3 also brings a new philosophy unit - ASP229 Love, Sex and Death - which you may be interested in undertaking.
