Currently researching and writing a book on rural Australia during World war two; and another book is planned about home front official war artists in world war two; and then two cultural landscape studies – the Bungendore Plains and the High Plains of The Monaro; and then two family histories (Darts and Attewells).
Current research projects Rural Australia during world war two (including post war rural reconstruction) and the home front official war artists in world war two.

In March 2008 I convened and chaired an international Conference on museums and refugees. The edited
Conference proceedings were signed off by UNESCO in Paris and the manuscript is now with Berghan Press in
New York for publication in late 2012 or early 2013

Research Officer to Professor Robert O’Neill, official historian of the Korean War – wrote the bibliography for volume one and a chapter on the medical services for volume two.

Deakin University acknowledges the traditional land owners of present campus sites.
