Role and profile George Duke joined the philosophy program in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2011 after completing a PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2010 under the supervision of Professor Greg Restall. His research interests extend from ancient philosophy to contemporary philosophy of language. He is currently engaged in research on (the history of) practical reason and theories of political authority.
