| Role and profile |
Professor Matthew Clarke is Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Professor Clarke has been chief investigator on sevennational Category 1 research grants valued at over $2.5m during the last eight years. Professor Clarke has published or presented over 100 academic journal papers, book chapters and conference papers. He has also authored six books and edited another eight volumes. He also contributes to The Canberra Times and The Age newspapers as well as ABC radio and television. Professor Clarke undertakes regular evaluations of community development projects in the Pacific and South-east Asia for various non-government organisations. |
