The School of International and Political Studies offers a range of programs that provide you with a rich understanding of the modern world, its international features, and its social and cultural dynamics. This focus includes Australian Politics and Australia’s role in global and regional settings, European and Asian Philosophy, Arabic, Chinese and Indonesian language, international community development and studies in public policy.
We aim to produce graduates with enhanced skills in analysis, clear thinking and presentation. They will also have the knowledge and professionalism to apply and adapt these skills to many workplaces. Mid-career training, and the upgrading of qualifications, are particular strengths of our teaching programs.
The disciplines we offer provide the framework for degrees and professional programs across the humanities and social sciences. Staff members are active in research, engaged with their professional communities and committed to quality teaching of the theoretical and applied dimensions of their disciplines.
The Courses page details the School's offerings, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, in both on and off-campus modes.
