Teaching and Learning Awards

The key to successful teaching and learning is our teachers. In line with Deakin's Teaching and Learning Plan, the University is committed to fostering an environment in which teaching excellence is recognised and celebrated.

Internal awards for teaching excellence are offered at both Faculty and University level. At University level, the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellent Contributions to Deakin recognise both individual teaching excellence and outstanding projects. Several highly acclaimed external teaching awards are offered at Industry level and nationally through organisations such as the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC).
