This major focuses upon the relationship between information systems and health. It will focus upon the acquisition, storage, retrieval and use of information in a health context and ways in which the information is used and protected. The major focuses upon information used with business processes within a healthcare setting as well as for medical treatment
Careers in this field include data/information managers, project manager, systems analyst, programmer, clinical administrator in a health care setting, administrator in government and private organisations processing health data
