The Faculty has developed strong partnerships with leading universities, TAFE colleges, businesses, professional societies, and private educational providers, both on-shore and off-shore.
In recognition of our close working relationship with the business and professional community, the Good Universities Guide named Deakin joint winner of the prestigious University of the Year award for 1999/2000. Deakin is the only university to have been named University of the Year twice, having previously won the award for its use of technology in teaching and learning.
