The University and ANZIIF have entered into an agreement that provides a pathway for ANZIIF and RMIA (Risk Management Institution of Australasia) students to enter the Graduate Certificate and Master of Insurance and Risk Management. Students completing the Graduate Diploma of Financial Services and the Master of Risk management meet the educational requirements of the ANZIIF Fellowship award.
The Deakin-CIMA MBA is a collaborative MBA offered through a partnership between Deakin University and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and provides CIMA members holding a professional qualification the opportunity to accelerate their MBA studies.
In conjunction with Engineering Education Australia (EEA), a subsidiary of the Australian Institute of Engineers, Deakin University offers an “Engineered” MBA, tailored to meet the needs of aspiring and practicing managers in the fields of engineering, science and technology. The “Engineered” MBA commenced in 2003.
The Institute of Chartered Accountant in Australia and Deakin University have set up a Graduate Certificate of Chartered Accounting Foundations which is a conversion course for non-Accounting graduates employed by, or aspiring to be employed by chartered accounting firms and organisations.
Deakin University has developed a program for the PIEF and its constituent organisations. The PIEF comprises of a consortium of Australian and New Zealand accident compensation regulators, insurers and claims management organisations who have worked with Deakin University to provide a postgraduate program focused on meeting the needs of persons working in the accident compensation industry.
