James OsenarisJames Osenaris
President

James graduated from Deakin University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing/Finance). James was focused on leadership duties around campus and was the Deakin Commerce Society President in 2005, after being involved in the committee for 2 years prior to that.

After graduating, James spent 3 years in various sales and marketing roles at cosmetic company L'Oreal, before joining US food manufacturer Heinz where he held account management roles for 4 years. James is currently working for Schweppes Australia where he is currently a National Account Manager working on the Woolworths account.

James has been involved in the alumni for 7 years and has held various roles within the committee, notably Vice-President in 2010 and 2013. James' notable contributions for the alumni thus far is the setup of a mentoring program, creating a social media strategy for the alumni and conducting various sessions to mentor and liaise with undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Daniel Bell

Daniel is a Client Manager in Deloitte Private's Business Advisory practice. He commenced with the firm in 2009 and provides accounting, taxation and business advisory services to his client base, which consists of privately owned businesses and family groups across a diverse range of industries, with revenues between $1 million and $400 million. Daniel graduated from Deakin in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting, finance and financial planning. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia, completing the chartered accountants program in December 2011.

Daniel joined the Alumni Committee in January 2013 and is part of the professional development and university profile enhancement sub-committees.

Daniel BellRoger Fredrick

Roger has been working within Deloitte Private's Business Advisory practice since he commenced with the firm in 2011 and has been providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to his client base, which consists of privately owned businesses and family groups across a diverse range of industries, with revenues between $1 million and $400 million. He is currently transitioning out of his current role and will assume the position of Director within ASR Group, a company established to invest in private businesses in Australia. He will be involved in strategic planning and implementation, operation enhancement and human resource management. Roger is also a Commissioned Officer at the rank of Lieutenant in the Australian Army Reserve and is currently working as a Platoon Commander. He has over 5 years of experience working for Defence and currently trains, manages and leads a team of 30 soldiers.

Roger graduated from Deakin in 2011 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Finance and Financial Planning. He is currently completing his Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting with an expected completion date of February 2014. Roger joined the Alumni Committee in January 2013 and has assisted with the development and implementation of the social media strategy and alumni engagement along with organising professional development events and speaking on campus.
