Michael D'Rosario,
Vice President Deakin Commerce Alumni Chapter Michael is an Associate Lecturer in Financial Ethics and Finance at Deakin University. Prior to this, Michael worked with Ausaid and with Can Tho University as a Research and Development Officer. Upon graduating in 2003, Michael worked in insolvency and business consulting with Korda Mentha and related entity 333PM. Michael has worked on a number of turnaround appointments, primarily in the transport and retail sectors. Michael is particularly passionate about social entrepreneurship and community development and has assisted a number of NGOs locally and abroad. Presently, Michael manages a charitable entity known as Nexus, focused on the empowerment of impoverished communities.
Michael studied a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Finance) degree while at Deakin. He has also completed and is completing postgraduate studies in Sustainability at Swinburne, Philosophy/International Justice at Melbourne, and International Development at Deakin.
