Mukund Narayanamurti, President Deakin Commerce Alumni Chapter

Since graduating from Deakin University in 2002, Mukund has worked for over four years with KPMG Australia, most recently as a manager in the Corporate Tax Division of KPMG Melbourne. Mukund specialises in corporate and international tax and has worked on various significant domestic and cross border mergers and acquisition deals, capital raisings and corporate restructures. Mukund also has significant experience with respect to India/Australia trade and commerce and has facilitated a number of key engagements and leads for KPMG in both India and Australia in this regard.

Mukund has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Finance) degree besides also being a qualified Chartered Accountant. Mukund is currently on a 12 month career break from KPMG Australia as he is pursuing a Master of International Tax Law at the University of Melbourne Law School and working as an Associate Lecturer at Deakin University.
