Mark HuiMark Hui
President

Mark Hui graduated with a first class Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Deakin. During his time at Deakin, Mark was the recipient of numerous scholarships from the Faculty of Business and Law. Mark also participated in an international exchange program to study at The George Washington University (USA).

In addition to his impressive academic record, Mark was also actively involved in serving the University community as a student representative to the Academic Board and as President of the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society.

Since graduation, Mark has worked primarily in the manufacturing industry but moved into management consulting in 2008 in a role as Senior Consultant with the Litmus Group.

Mark's contribution to the Deakin Commerce Alumni Chapter

During the Chapter's first term in 2007/2008, Mark served as a steering committee member with specific responsibility for the Chapter's networking events. Mark formed a terrific team with Michael Levy and together they organised two extremely successful networking events at The Trust and at Ondergrounds in Melbourne, with total Chapter members in attendance exceeding 150. Mark also played a key role on the University support and profile enhancement front, returning to Deakin in 2008 to give an inspirational address to undergraduate Finance students on the value of a Deakin education and how to make an effective transition from university to the work force.

In the Chapter's second term in 2009, Mark served as Joint Vice-President with Michael Levy and was instrumental in the organisation of the Chapter's four networking events. Mark played a key role with the overall management and leadership of the Chapter in its second term.

Mark stands apart in his contributions to Deakin as Mark has been a Deakin supporter from well before the formation of the Chapter in 2007. As early as 2003, Mark was a common figure at student workshops and seminars on campus at Deakin. Mark's selflessness and commitment towards Deakin over the years have been extraordinary.
