Rani Engineer
President
Rani graduated from Deakin University in 2008 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Commerce (MCom) (specialising in e-Business). During her student years, Rani was active board member with the Deakin Graduate Business Society. She was a student representative on the Deakin Business School Board in 2008.
Rani was involved in the development of the Postgraduate Student Mentoring Program and also volunteered as a mentor. Upon graduation, Rani was invited to be a member of the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society in recognition of 'Outstanding Scholastic Achievement and Excellence'. Rani recently began a new business venture making French Provincial furniture. She previously worked as a Business Analyst with Austin Health.
Rani's contribution to the Deakin Commerce Alumni Chapter
Since graduating in 2008, Rani has been an active member of the Deakin alumni community. She has served as a panel member at Deakin Business School graduate information sessions, Faculty of Business & Law Careers Week and Professionals Showcase events, among other initiatives.
Rani has been involved in growing the Chapter's member base and organising of the networking events which have enjoyed excellent attendance levels.
