Unit Guide Archive

Purpose

The Faculty of Business and Law has gathered together an archive of unit guides for units offered in past semesters. We have tried to put together a complete collection of unit guides however some gaps exist. This archive currently goes back to 1998. We will continue to collect past unit guides and update this site.

Past students can use these unit guides to show the skills and knowledge they have they have gained at Deakin University to employers or professional bodies.

To find the most recent version available of a unit guide use the unit guide search page.

If the unit guide you are searching for is not listed it is probably not available. You can contact the School Administrative Officer of the School responsible for the unit. They may be able to put you in touch with the Unit Chair who may be able to source the document for you.

Tips for finding the right unit guide

  1. Check your academic transcript to find the correct unit code and title and the semester you studied it,
    alternatively, you can find your unit code and title in the Deakin University Handbook.
  2. Select the relevant semester from the left hand menu.
  3. Locate your unit code from the list displayed. It is in alphabetical order by unit code.
  4. The unit guides are in PDF format and require Acrobat Reader. If you don't have it you can download a free copy.
