Deakin's Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) is designed to provide students with skills to work in the business of sport, in all its manifestations, including professional sport, national and state sporting organisations and community sport. The course covers the financial, promotional, managerial, legal and other aspects of sport as a business, providing the skills required to work in areas such as managing organisations that conduct sporting competitions and major events, community programs that encourage participation in sport, and organisations that support sporting competitions such as sporting goods manufacturers and retailers, sports promoters, facility designers and managers, and player managers and agents.
Bachelor of Business Information Systems B G X
The Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) addresses the business applications of technology, the way in which information technology affects and changes modern organisations and the management of large quantities of information. Students gain a fundamental understanding of how computers work. They build knowledge and skills to develop, apply and manage technology and the people who use it.

Bachelor of Laws B G W X
Deakin's Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is designed to produce first-class commercial lawyers. The course provides innovative and distinctive legal education with an orientation towards commercial law and in-depth studies in each of the major areas of legal practice through hands-on practical legal skills training. Our Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws degree option opens up specific opportunities in business law, perhaps the most prestigious and highly regarded area of legal practice, and one in which a sound background in both business and legal studies can be so crucial. The LLB is available for school leavers and mature-age students.
Bachelor of Management B G W X
The Bachelor of Management will give you an understanding of the latest practices and perspectives on key issues such as change, innovation and technology, globalisation, quality, and employee participation and performance. In addition, management studies seek to develop the generic skills of communication, problem solving, planning, organising, managing change and working cooperatively with others. The wide range of specialist major sequences offers local and international opportunities across almost every area of business and government.
Bachelor of Property and Real Estate B
The Bachelor of Property and Real Estate is Victoria's only three-year course, which has been designed in close consultation with employers and industry bodies. The course provides knowledge and skills in property development, property valuation, market analysis and property economics, with specialisations in sustainability, business or built environment disciplines. The course has an international context and equips students with an understanding of the relevant principles and processes for a professional role in the property field. Most importantly students benefit from close links to the property industry and are kept abreast of the latest changes affecting all facets of the property market.

Bachelor of Sport Development B
The Bachelor of Sport Development focuses on the development of sport (i.e. sports systems and planning for participation), and development through sport (building social capital and cohesion in communities). The course draws on three streams of study: sport management and marketing; coaching; and exercise and sport science.
At Deakin we offer a number of combined courses that enable you to complete two highly regarded qualifications in a shorter time frame than it would normally take to complete the courses separately. You are able to pursue a wide range of interesting study combinations leading to flexible career prospects.
Experience has shown that employers prefer graduates of combined courses. These graduates are highly regarded for their breadth of knowledge and their unique perspective of the business environment.
Bachelor of Management/ Advanced Diploma of Tourism B G
In response to the high-level management skills needed by the tourism industry, the Faculty of Business and Law offer a course in tourism and management in conjunction with Box Hill Institute.
