Learn about the central importance of accounting information in information systems processes and requirements in a business framework. Why choose Deakin?
At an undergraduate level, an accounting information systems specialisation can be studied through the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Deakin's BCom is internationally recognised and EPAS accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EPAS is an international quality benchmark for business programs worldwide. Deakin is the only Australian university with EPAS accreditation for its Bachelor of Commerce.
Graduates of Accounting Information Systems are highly sought after due to their two areas of specialisations. You may be employed in roles such as specialist accountant or business consultant.
