The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is the highest expression of business/education partnership. Undertaken as a collaboration between experienced business professionals and distinguished academics within the internationally recognised rigour and relevance of a professional doctorate.

The DBA is designed for business executives who already have a high level of professional expertise and reputation in their field with an aim to produce original research of significance to business and professional practice.

Studying the DBA you will:

  • achieve a comprehensive understanding of a specific issues
  • make a significant contribution to the research and business practice in the area
  • develop specialist, recognised expertise
  • influence your standing in the business and professional community internationally

As a DBA candidate you will be guided by expert supervisors from the Deakin Graduate School of Business and the Faculty of Business and Law as you design and conduct your research and write your thesis.

Stage one units are offered either on campus at the Melbourne Campus Burwood or off campus. Stage two units are offered intensively at Melbourne Campus Burwood.
