What is Management?

Management may be defined as the procedures and systems used in an organisation to assess how individuals and the organisation can best operate. Studying Management will give you an understanding of the latest practices and perspectives on key issues such as change, innovation and technology, globalisation, quality, and employee participation and performance. In addition, Management studies seek to develop the generic skills of communication, problem solving, planning, organising, managing change and working cooperatively with others.
