The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) qualification is recognised internationally and represents the highest level of educational achievement for business professionals who want to develop research capability which may be directly applied to business practice.
The Deakin Business School's DBA program is designed for highly experienced managers and provides an opportunity to undertake independent research in an area of specialist interest. The course helps candidates extend their business knowledge, their research and critical analysis skills and their ability to communicate professionally. The program consists of coursework (12 credit points) plus a major research project (12 credit points), completed over three years of full-time study (or the part-time equivalent).
The Deakin DBA offers flexibility with units available on our Melbourne campus at Burwood and off campus. As a DBA candidate you will be guided by expert supervisors from the Deakin Business School and the Faculty of Business and Law as you design and conduct your research and write your thesis.
You will be supported by Deakin University's extensive online facilities and support services and enjoy flexibility and quality in your DBA study experience.
