Within the MBA programs, students can choose to undertake some units in the style of five-day intensive, live-in schools. These are held at the Deakin Management Centre within the grounds of Deakin's Geelong campus at Waurn Ponds.
The DBS Residential Program has received the following awards:
Dr John McWilliams, Dr Judy Nagy and Prof Tanya Castleman, received the Carrick Institute Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning for leadership in the development of a Community of Practice to achieve excellence in postgraduate management residential schools.
The DBS Residential Team received the Vice Chancellor's Award for outstanding Achievement in Teaching and Learning for their work in the intensive residential units run at the Deakin Management Centre and the China Study Program. Members of the team include: John McWilliams, Steve Jaynes, Ann Lawrence, Heath McDonald, Stuart Orr, Anne Rouse, Marie Trigg, Elsa Underhill, Julian Vieceli.

Please note that registration of your expression of interest to attend does not guarantee you a place. Students successful in gaining a place at a residential will be notified by email in due course.
