The Faculty of Business and Law offers students in the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Business Information Systems the opportunity to participate in an exciting and innovative Business Internship Program.
Students are able to see the practical application of their studies in a real business environment while gaining valuable work experience and credit towards their degree.
The Internship is run as a full credit point unit with flexible, project based assessment. Part of the assessment will be an e-Journal, an on-line diary that records and monitors student experiences and encourages reflective practice.
The internships can be Faculty sponsored or individually negotiated by the student.
The Business Internship Program provides an opportunity to make vital contacts in the business community. Students gain real experience in the business world, a professional reference and the chance to receive special recognition for outstanding work. As a consequence of involvement in the Business Internship Program, student employability is greatly enhanced.
