Corporate Australia - Saving lives and reducing crime

The 2008 Brookes Oration delivered by Christine Nixon APM, Chief Commissioner, Victoria Police was held on Thursday 24 April in the Rusden Lecture Theatre. The topic of her talk was 'Corporate Australia - Saving lives and reducing crime' which drew a large, appreciative audience of University staff and students, corporate and community representatives.

The Oration was followed by dinner in the Richard Searby Room at which the Brookes Medals for 2007 were presented by Roger Brookes, the sponsor of the Oration and dinner. The winners were Chris Latcham and Diana Raspe who demonstrated the highest level of academic achievement of all the graduating MBA students in 2007.
