China Study Program

2011 China Study Program applications have now closed. If you would like to register your interest in the 2012 program, please email your details to Shirin Robin-Chacko.

Immerse yourself for 3 weeks in China. Gain an international study experience and bring back credits towards your Deakin degree.

As part of its Trimester 3 studies program, the Deakin Graduate School of Business is again offering students the opportunity to complete two postgraduate units - International Business Management and Human Resource Management - in China to develop a deep understanding of doing business with Chinese companies and managing operations in the Chinese environment.

Formal classes will be held at East China University of Politics and Law, (ECUPL) at Zhongshan Park, Shanghai.

The program is limited to 30 students.

Round 1 application closing date is 5 August 2011 with the incentive of Faculty Grant of $500. Applications received after this date would not be granted with the incentive and may incur additional surcharges.
As the interest in this years program is high, and we can only take 30 students, we suggest you submit your application as soon as possible.

Postgraduate students studying on and off-campus at Deakin University and even students from other Australian Universities are encouraged to apply1.

Notes:
1) Please check with your Head of School to confirm the level of credit to be generally granted, and to ultimately approve the elective you have chosen for credit transfer.
