Combined Courses
The combined degree courses of the Faculty of Business and Law are an innovative response to the need for business and professional education in Australia. They integrate the study of professional specialisations within broader understanding of business - in particular, the legal, international and information and communications technology contexts of business, as well as the leadership and strategic dimensions of business which are the province of the Deakin MBA.
From a solid professional base within one business discipline, these courses add another dimension to the capabilities of our graduates. In doing so, they emphasise learning experiences aligned as closely as possible with working business environments, centred around real world project analysis and business decision-making.
The combined degree programs of the Faculty of Business and Law enable students to obtain two highly regarded professional qualifications through two years of full-time study or its part-time equivalent.
These courses draw on Deakin University's flexible learning model which is at the forefront of the use of electronic conferencing and communications technology in education. The flexible learning model is supported by comprehensive course materials and support services.
