The Deakin Graduate School of Business (DGSB) Residential Program has received the following awards:
In 2006 Dr John McWilliams, Dr Judy Nagy and Prof Tanya Castleman, received the Carrick Institute Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning for leadership in the development of a Community of Practice to achieve excellence in postgraduate management residential schools.
In 2005 the DGSB Residential Team received the Vice Chancellor's Award for outstanding Achievement in Teaching and Learning for their work in the intensive residential units run at the Deakin Management Centre and the China Study Program. Members of the team include: Dr John McWilliams, Dr Steve Jaynes, Ann Lawrence, Assoc Prof Heath McDonald, Prof Stuart Orr, Assoc Prof Anne Rouse, Marie Trigg, Dr Elsa Underhill and Dr Julian Vieceli.
