Course Information

Master of Management (Personal Injury)

The Master of Management (Personal Injury) is a 12 credit point Masters degree developed to meet the academic needs of an industry partner - the Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF), and its constituent members. Those members are a consortium of Australian and New Zealand accident compensation regulators, insurers and claims management organisations who work with Deakin University to provide a postgraduate program focused on meeting the needs of professionals working in the accident compensation industry. The program, which consists of this course and its constituent Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate, and a Master of Business (Personal Injury), combines specialist units in personal injury management and existing core and elective units offered by the Faculty of Business and Law relevant to the work of those in this industry.

The Master of Business (Personal Injury) is an 8 credit point Masters degree developed in conjunction with the Master of Management (Personal Injury) that acknowledges previous four year degrees successfully completed at university level, or three year programs combined with relevant work experience.

These degrees incorporate one unit provided by Griffith University.

The programs are available to employees of PIEF constituent organisations, and qualified applicants from other areas in the personal injury sector, including allied health; behavioural/occupational health; self insured employers and legal/paralegal roles.
