Staff teaching in Strategy and Process Management within the Deakin Graduate School of Business conduct research in a variety of areas:

Current research activities:

  • Virtual Resources Theory - an empirical investigation of the constructs surrounding the strategic resources located outside the boundaries of the organisation
  • Sustainability in the Australian energy industry - an empirical investigation of the application of operations strategy frameworks to achieving environmentally sustainable operations in the energy industry
  • Use of future contracts in the stream will industry - an investigation of the impact on organisational performance in the wool industry of the use of future contracts as opposed to auction in for wool sales
  • Accounting needs in rural and regional areas
  • Knowledge sharing by SMEs in online business networks
  • Sustainability practices of SMEs
  • Customer repurchase intention - an SEM model
  • Poor use of tools in testing the measurement model in information systems, management and marketing journals
  • Predicting B2B relationship quality
