Bachelor of Business Information Systems/Bachelor of Information Technology (BBIS/BIT)
The Bachelor of Business Information Systems/Bachelor of Information Technology (BBIS/BIT) offers a modern and learning-oriented study of Business Information Systems and Information Technology. It focuses in the areas of software development, e-systems, multimedia technology and games design and development; and on the business context of the use of systems analysis and design, systems management, risk and project management.

Graduates will be able to operate efficiently and effectively as professionals in the IS and IT sector, and to address the business applications of technology, the management of large quantities of information and the way in which this affects modern organisations.
Course structure
The BBIS/BIT comprises of 32 credit points usually completed over four years of full-time study, or the part time equivalent. It is structured to include four information systems core units; five information technology compulsory units; four commerce core units; four information systems elective units; eleven IT course grouped elective units; and four credit points of elective units from the Faculty of Business and Law.
