Supply Chain Management

What is it?

Supply Chain Management (SCM) relates to the management of the flow of materials, information, and finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to end-consumer. It involves coordinating and integrating these activities within and among companies effectively and efficiently.

Why study it?

The increasing worldwide competition of business have forced companies to adopt state-of-the-art, effective global Supply Chain Management (SCM) approaches. This major not only provides students with an understanding of best practice global Supply Chain Management but also allows student to broaden their choice of career and industry they would like to work in.
