Course Information

Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS)

Students should carefully check prerequisite requirements and semester availability of units when varying the sequence and seek advice from an Enrolment Officer. No more than 10 credit points can be taken at Level 1, plus students must complete a minimum of 6 credit points at Level 3 (4 of which must be Information Systems units).

Electives must include:
Four (4) Information Systems units of which at least two (2) units must be at level 3:
MSC220 (Tri 1), MSC244 (Tri 1), MSC245 (Tri 2), MSC273 (Tri 2), MSC302 (Tri 2), MSC304 (Tri 2), MSC345 (Tri 1), MSC347 (Tri 2), MSC349 (Tri 1), MSC350 (Tri 2), MSC388 (Tri 1) MLL370 (Tri 1), MMI301, MMI302 (Tri 1. 2 or 3)

A maximum of 8 credit points, 4 credit points of which must be Business and Law units and 2 credit points of which must be at Level 3.

The elective units may form a major in one of the following areas:  Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Business Security Management, Commercial Law, Economics, Finance, Financial Planning, Health Informatics, Human Resource Management, Interactive Marketing, International Business, International Trade, Management, Marketing, Professional Practice, Quantitative Business Analysis, Supply Chain Management.
