Journal of Information Systems and Small Business

The Journal of Information Systems and Small Business (JISSB) is an international, double blind peer-reviewed journal. It will primarily be published online (see the publication process) with annual print copies. JISSB is proudly supported by the School of Information Systems and the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University.

JISSB was launched in December 2006 to provide a forum for advancing and disseminating the growing body of specialist research into the various issues and applications of IS in the context of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and small businesses in particular (see JISSB mission for further details).

The online publishing format for JISSB has been adopted to expedite the publication of accepted papers - that is, approximately 4 weeks after final acceptance. Please see the JISSB publication process for more details.

Papers can be submitted to JISSB at any time and, if accepted, will be published in the regular paper section in each issue. Special issues will also be included in JISSB. For further details on calls for papers, upcoming special issues or proposing and editing a special issue, please see the call for papers.

As a service to SME and IS researchers, this website also provides research resources such as a database of relevant publications which can be searched. Direct links to these online resources are also provided where possible. If you would like to contribute to the maintenance of these research resources or have resources you would like included, please contact the JISSB co-editors (see Contact details).
