Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
This is a terrific site. It contains information about the ACCC, current ACCC news, media releases, speeches and a number of on-line publications and on-line order forms for other ACCC publications. It has information on compliance programs, consumer protection, small business, airports, electricity, gas, telecommunications, mergers and internet scams. It also includes contact details and other useful links

National Competition Council
The NCC Home Page includes annual reports, a compendium of National Competition Policy agreements, information on infrastructure reform (Part IIIA TPA), rail and gas issues, speeches, press releases, publications, newsletters, an assessment of states and territory progress in implementing the national competition policy as well as contact details

Office of Fair Trading (UK)
This is a great resource. It includes the following sections: consumer help (this section 'advice on your consumer rights in the United Kingdom' - it is sub-divided into: general consumer rights, credit and debt, holiday problems, problems with your car, home and contents, useful things to know and how to complain), reference (includes press releases, reports, links, speeches, OFT publications, statistics and actions under legislation. There is also a section devoted to the new (1998) Competition Act which comes into force on 1 March 2000), news (includes latest announcements, new press releases and publications etc), about the OFT (includes a guide to the OFT, staff information, annual reports, information on who to contact in the OFT with contact details and Consumer Credit Licensing information) and the Fair Trading Magazine (which includes consumer and competition news - the current issues and back issues to 1996 are available.)

‘The Nation’s Consumer Law Experts’ - Contains sections on home, legal manuals, newsletters, attorney advice, training, press and jobs, energy publications, consumer information, issue statements, links, announcements, conferences and training, reports, free consumer information and more. Good site.

New South Wales Department of Fair Trading
Sections on Y2K, Co-ops, going shopping, homes, building, renting, your business, cars, bikes, boats, buying safe products, Fair Trading Centres, the Olympics, Policy and Legislation, Publications, Media, contact information and more.
