Lawcrawler searches specifically for legal information – you can search in all countries or limit your searches to certain jurisdictions – there is a LawCrawler Australia. Unfortunately it has a horrible picture of a big hairy spider which terrifies me every time I open this site.

Service of the Google search engine - specifically for searching for products available online
IXQUICK Metasearch
Claims to be the world's most powerful metasearch engine. Searchable in English and other languages. Also can choose to search the whole web or just news or pictures. You can add this search engine to your own site.
Yahoo
Good search engines. Unlike most universal search engines it contains an Australian page - Yahoo Australia and New Zealand - which is useful in limiting your searches if you are only interested in Australian sites. It contains a general links page - Yahoo Law Links Page - covering law links world-wide.

Lycos is a fairly comprehensive search engine
