School of Law Chapter Launchlecture

In November 2010 Deakin School of Law graduates, staff and students gathered to celebrate the launch of the new School of Law Alumni Chapter, to farewell the retiring Deakin Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Professor Phillip Clake, and to announce his new role as School of Law Alumni Chapter Patron.


Law School Orationlecture

The 2009 Law School Oration was delivered by The Honourable The Honourable Justice Maxwell, President, Court of Appeal Supreme Court of Victoria: Too much law? Risk, reasonableness and the judge as regulator. The Oration was held on 19 August at the Melbourne Town Hall

Faculty Celebrates 30 Yearspeople


In October 2007 the Faculty of Business and Law hosted an alumni event to celebrate 30 years of Deakin University.

Deakin University acknowledges the traditional land owners of present campus sites.
