China Study Tour - Costs 2012

The study tour fee for Deakin students was $1400* and covered the following costs:

  • airport transfers in Shanghai (for those travelling with the group)
  • accommodation for the duration of the study tour
  • all breakfasts and lunches
  • two banquets
  • entry to tourist sites included in the itinerary
  • coach travel to and from tourist sites in the itinerary
  • professional tour guides at tourist attractions

 *The 2012 China Study Tour fee for current Deakin students was proudly supported by the
Business and Law Faculty Grant.


Cross-Institutional students please contact the Study Tour Coordinator for fee costings.

The tour fee does not cover:

  • unit enrolment fees
  • air travel and airport taxes
  • visas
  • spending money

Enrolment fees
This unit attracts all applicable enrolment fees. This means you will pay the normal General Service Fee and whichever one of the following fees is applicable to your enrolment:

  • applicable HECS or CSP fees
  • Tuition fees (ie Postgraduate upfront fees, International student fees)
  • Single Unit/Non Award fees
