Chinese Commercial Law Study Tour

Units offered

The program is offered during mid trimester break and enrolment occurs for Trimester 2. All teaching takes place in China during the program dates however students must be available to attend a compulsory orientation day in Melbourne prior to departure.

Students cannot enrol themselves in the study program units via StudentConnect. Successful applicants will be notified and enrolled by staff. Student should nominate their preferred unit of study when they submit their application.


MLL344 Chinese Commercial Law or MLM703 Chinese Commercial Law

Develop an understanding of the Chinese legal system and its relationship to Chinese history and culture while developing an awareness of Chinese commercial law in the context of foreign trade and investment.

Assessment: Written assignment and exam

MLL344 Relevant for:

Law and combined law students as a Law or general elective

MLM703 Relevant for:

Master of Commercial Law students as an elective

Postgraduate students as part of a Commercial Law major or as an elective
