Social, sporting and charitable organisations are the backbone of many rural communities. Being involved in running a community group can be stimulating and satisfying - a way to contribute to your community and follow your passions. It also involves complying with your legal duties and following good governance practices!
The Centre for Rural Regional Law and Justice in partnership with PilchConnect ran a seminar on legal tips for community organisations on Wednesday 9 September 2013. Board members and administrators from community based organisations participated via video conference at one of nine regional locations. Download the presentation [1.7MB PDF].
