A standard placement is 10 days. However this may not suit all students, therefore, students may undertake professional experience in any manner that suits them. For example, one day per week, or a number of hours at a time. For this purpose, the School of Law will consider 7.5 hours as being the equivalent of one working day.
It is not necessary for students to undertake placements at separate firms. Seasonal Clerkships are an ideal way to satisfy this requirement.
MLL351 Law Clinic counts for 10 days towards the professional work experience component of the course.
