Summer Internship Program 2009

The Oaktree Foundation is seeking passionate young people under the age of 26 to take part in the 2009 Summer Internship Program and gain direct experience working in an aid and development agency. Oaktree is Australia’s first entirely youth run international aid and development organisation. Become a World Changer this summer. Develop your skills, expand your knowledge and take action.

This Summer Internship Program is designed to allow you to:

• Get fired up to make a difference
• Gain experience working in an aid and development organisation
• Make new friends and meet other passionate young people
• Be mentored by an experienced Oaktree Team Leader
• Apply your knowledge and skills by taking on an intern project
• Have flexible work hours and full use of the Oaktree office
• Develop your skills in leadership, management and communication
• Expand your knowledge of advocacy and project development Interns will take on discreet projects working across all areas of the organization and assist the Oaktree team in planning campaigns and initiatives for the year.
