The School of Law's prize giving ceremony was held on 19 April and was a terrific evening. The event was attended by the PVC (B&L), Professor Gael McDonald and representatives of most of our sponsors. Justice Clyde Croft from the Supreme Court of Victoria presented the Supreme Court Prize to the top 2011 graduate, Caitlin Brown. Caitlin gave an inspiring acceptance speech upon recieving her award.
I would like to thank those academic staff who attended (Sharon Erbacher, Jason Taliadoros, Michael McShane, Ben Hayward, Patricia Perlen) and the general staff who organized the event (in particular, Kylie Wiffen) and those who assisted in its smooth operation on the night (Kylie Wiffen, Nerida Coghill, Jacqui O'Leary and Jo Begbie).
Finally, I'd like to once again congratulate the prize winners!
Dr Julie Clarke
