Centre for Rural Regional Law and Justice
The recently established Faculty Centre, the Centre for Rural Regional Law and Justice, is a new Deakin initiative which will undertake an exciting range of activities to research and respond to disadvantage experienced by regional communities in accessing justice system services.

Research
A core objective of the Centre is to undertake applied research in areas which impact on the effective delivery of justice to regional Australia.

Conference
The National Rural Regional Law and Justice Conference will be held on held on 18-20 May in Coffs Harbour, hosted by University of New England in collaboration with Deakin University School of Law.

The inaugral conference was delivered by Deakin University in November 2010 and was a resounding success. You can read about the presentations and resolutions.
