Postgraduate Law - Course Delivery

On-campus and off-campus study

The School seeks to make postgraduate legal education available to persons unable to attend conventional classes. Units are offered on-campus, off-campus and off-shore and courses may be structured to be undertaken full or part-time.

On-campus teaching is conducted on the University's Melbourne Burwood Campus. Where units are taught on-campus during the day, the teaching model used is similar to that adopted in many United States Law Schools. These classes usually total three hours per week.

Off-campus teaching is conducted using a combination of printed course materials and Deakin Studies Online (DSO).
