Centre for Rural Regional Law and Justice

The Centre's governance structure is designed to ensure both an effective system for dealing with the management and administration of the Centre and a representative voice for key sectors working within the justice system in regional Victoria.

Centre Management Board:
The Board consist of seven members, composed as follows:

  School of Law

• Professor Jean du Plessis, Chair in Law,
  School of Law

• Associate Professor Peter Kelly,
  Principal Research Fellow in Social Science,
  Alfred Deakin Research Institute

• Associate Professor Kevin O'Toole,
  School of Humanities and Social Science

• 2 representative of the Centre Advisory Committee (to be nominated)

A Centre Advisory Committee:
Membership includes up to 10 individuals representing key stakeholder organisations. The broad role of the Centre cuts across a number of sectors and professions which is reflected by the composition of the Advisory Committee and includes:
