He also inaugurated the teaching of  UniSa’s business law subjects in Hong Kong and Singapore.

At his own request, John’s appointment at Deakin has been part-time. In 2003 John served as the School of Law’s On Line Teaching and Learning Fellow. John’s pioneering role in the academic use of podcasts to deliver “Fireside Chats” has received prominent media coverage in the  print, on -line and audio media. He has published in the areas of legal education and trade practices law and  took part in the Faculty of Business and Law’s inaugural  Roadshow to West Gippsland, as part of his  interest in student recruitment and career pathways. After extensive  teaching commitments in Competition Law since his appointment to Deakin, John in 2006 has assumed responsibility for teaching the School’s units in Sport and the law.
