There is a saying that 'after the Moot is before the Moot' and once again this is true - the process of preparing for the 2013 / 2014 competition has begun. The School of Law will once again seek a group of talented, ambitious and hard working students to participate for Deakin University.
The Vis Moot is a lot of hard work - it requires a full time commitment from shortly after Trimester 2 exams right through to the oral rounds which are held just before Easter. However, there are a number of reasons to get involved.
It is a great chance to sharpen your legal research, written advocacy, oral advocacy and teamwork skills, a great chance to work closely with a small team of dedicated students, and a great chance to connect with many Deakin Vis Moot alumni through our extensive practice moot program, all while earning subject credit.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2013-2014 Vis Moot Team.
