Deakin University is delighted to announce study grants offered in partnership with the Australia Council for the Arts.

This initiative recognises the signifcant role that Deakin's Arts and Entertainment Management program plays in enhancing the quality of managers working in this growth industry.

These Study Grants have been supported by the Cultural Mininsters' Council through the Australia Council.

A number of grants will be offered for trimester 1 2010 which starts 8 March 2010.

The study grants cover the tuition fees for one of these units:

The units may also be studied on single, non-award basis.

These units have been designed specifically for the arts industry. They are delivered online over a 12-week trimester to allow both flexible study times and distance learning. Consequently applications are welcomed from any state of territory. Grants cannot be deferred.

Selection criteria

The Study Grants are only available to people employed by small to medium arts organisations with program or multi-year funding from the Australia Council for the Arts.

Selection will take into account an applicant's academic record and their contribution to the arts and entertainment industry.
