Arts and Entertainment Management Scholarships

These scholarships are sponsored by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust (known prior to 2001 as the Helen M Schutt Trust). The recipients will each receive $6000 for tuition fees.

The Helen Macpherson Smith Trust was established by the late Helen M Schutt (née Smith) in 1951 in accordance with the terms of Helen’s Will, which directed that the income from her estate should be paid in perpetuity at the discretion of Trustees to charitable institutions situated in Victoria.

The successful applicants will receive fees reimbursement up to the value of $1500 per credit point on successful completion of each unit studied.

Duration: For four credit units of study

Eligible applicants will be:

  • Female
  • Australian citizens or permanent residents
  • enrolled in one of the following courses:
    • Graduate Certificate of Arts and Entertainment Management
    • Master of Arts and Entertainment Management
    • Master of Business Administration  - Arts and Entertainment Management specialism

Selection will take into account:

  • An applicant’s academic record; and
  • Their contribution to the Arts and Entertainment Industry.
